About the Author

JERRY FEDORA has a diverse and fascinating military background that has shaped his approach to storytelling. He set on a path of adventure and service and eventually discovered his passion for writing. He chose the pen name JERRY FEDORA and now creates captivating stories informed by his real-life experiences.  

Military Experience

Jerry attended the U.S. Naval Academy and was commissioned as a 2nd Lieutenant in the U.S. Marine Corps. For 13 years, he served as an infantry officer. He had the honor of holding the highest pistol and rifle scores in his battalion.

Jerry was fortunate enough to travel the world while on active duty and met people from many nations and cultures. One of his favorite memories is Thanksgiving dinner in Okinawa at the home of a Japanese Army officer, whose wife proudly served spaghetti and broke out the knives and forks for the occasion.  

Insatiable Curiosity

Jerry is an ardent student of almost everything. He is primarily interested in military history, history in general, philosophy, and politics. Ancient Rome is a particular favorite. His personal library currently contains over 3,000 volumes, although inadequate space will soon require his collection to be significantly reduced.

Eclectic Tastes

Jerry listens to all types of music. On his iTunes playlist, you can find Madonna, Glenn Miller, Blue Oyster Cult, and Wagner side by side.

Personal Life

Jerry currently resides in Texas with his long-suffering wife. Together, they form a harmonious partnership and support each other with unwavering love.  

Random Facts

One distinctive feature that sets Jerry apart is his dashing mustache. It is a reflection of his individuality, which he takes pride in.

Jerry has a particular appreciation for Scotch whisky, which he considers “aqua vitae.”

At one point, Jerry could, in 15 languages, say two very important phrases: “Another beer, please.” and “Where is the restroom?”
